Recently I had an opportunity to travel to Bali to partake in a Yoga retreat. I chose to go to a luxury Meditation Resort Bali because I wanted to have a setting that would allow me to practice my Yoga with as much privacy as possible, and also a relaxing, luxurious atmosphere that would allow me to leave behind all of my worries and stress for a few days. Here are some tips on how to choose the right Bali Meditation Resort.
Luxury Meditation Resort Bali – What Sets it Apart?
” Located only seven kilometers from Mount Batu, this quiet, eco-friendly, technologically-equipped, mosquito-free, environmentally-friendly, mediation retreat offers private, wood-sided bungalows, single rooms, dormitory rooms, mosquito nets, fresh-picked, locally-brewed organic cuisine all day long, and several short-term, high-priced, guided meditation programs every day. Known for its eco-friendly practices and reverence toward the environment, it’s off-the- grid, technology-free, and requires absolute silence from the site.” -Cindy Tait, Green Building Australia
Another tip I can give you is to make sure your Yoga retreat is teaching Yoga in an area that will attract local and foreign visitors who will also be practicing Yoga. For example, if your Yoga retreat is at Prambanan Island, a popular beach resort in Bali, you won’t get many foreigners practicing Yoga there. If your Yoga retreat is at Jimbaran Beach, which is less populated than Prambanan Island, you will attract more local and foreign tourists. The more people who know about your Yoga practice, the better!
